RENO IS REDISTRICTING! City Council Meeting: AUGUST 9 2023

CITY OF RENO - REDISTRICTING:
The redistricting is a result of a vote to add a 6th ward and take away the At Large position.
The public was invited to draw maps and submit them. The redistricting committee took the submitted maps and came up with 4 final maps.
The maps are labeled A, B, C, and D.
Word on the streets is that the preferred map is C.
The public is welcome to submit their opinion on the maps. Public comment for the maps must be submitted by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, unless you would like to provide public comment live at the meeting.
The council will vote on this at the next Reno City Council meeting on Wednesday, August 9th. Reno City Hall, Council Chambers - One East First Street, Reno.
